Ipanema is your holiday address in enticing Surfers Paradise. It merely takes a short stroll from our elegant yet cheap accommodation on the Gold Coast to the beach, and to other places promising most pleasures in and around Surfers Paradise.
Awake from a siesta in the afternoon, and meander leisurely to Cavill Avenue, a boulevard of alfresco cafes, night clubs, and shops that is both trendy and historical alike. Cavill near our Gold Coast family accommodation was named after Jim Cavill, the hotelier who with imagination and entrepreneurship gave birth to Surfers Paradise.
Cavill Avenue today is the heart of Surfers Paradise activities. Guests in our holiday accommodation in the Gold Coast enjoy walking to the mall at its beach end for services like internet cafes, tour booking offices, and currency exchange. You can also find here establishments and miscellany that embody the colourful, laidback nature of Surfers Paradise: cheap Asian restaurants and kebab grills, arcades and beach wear boutiques, surfboard shops and tattoo parlours.
Cavill Avenue Restaurants
Famished holiday makers in our luxury apartments in the Gold Coast can also take pleasure in hearty breakfasts, lunches, and dinners in the cafes and restaurants along Cavill Avenue. For many customers in our Surfers Paradise family accommodation, one of the best dining options in the avenue is Hog’s Breath Café, which is famous for its Prime Rib. If you carry on sightseeing to other side of Cavill Avenue in Surfers Paradise Boulevard, you’ll then find Circle on Cavill, where you can choose to have sushi with tempura or risotto with veal in the Kamikazi Teppanyaki Restaurant or the Pacino Pizza Restaurant. We, however, recommend sauntering a tad more to dine at the Bavarian Haus. The restaurant famous for Deutschland dishes has an underground beer keller with more than 40 beers. So enjoy your sauerkraut!
If you’re looking for an afternoon pick me up to compliment a delightful meal, there is an abundance of clubs and pubs near our holiday resort in the Gold Coast. A personal favorite is O’Malley’s, an Irish pub on the corner of Cavill and the Esplanade. Savour their famous Irish stew or steak pie with a selection of international beers.
Cavill Avenue Night Life
There is no need to tell you that the merriment of Surfers Paradise merely begins when night falls on Cavill Avenue. Some of the popular night haunts near our luxury apartments in the Gold Coast are Melbas and Howl at the Moon. With a large dance floor, cocktail lounge, and pool tables, Melbas is the club to frequent for a classy night out. Howl at the Moon meanwhile is a piano bar where a lot of dancing, clapping, and singing along happens to the tunes of Cindy Lauper, Madonna, the Easybeats, and The Australian Crawl. So boys and girls, it’s time to light up!
More than a mere holiday, a stay in our luxury apartments in the Gold Coast is an encounter with the people, pleasure, and possibilities of Surfers Paradise. In Cavill Avenue alone, you can meet metre maidens, street performers, surfers, and schoolies in bikinis. So what’re you waiting for mate?
