Celebrate the Gold Coast screen culture, watch independent films shot and made in Queensland, see international and Australian pre-release films as well as Asia Pacific Screen Award-winning films at the 2014 Gold Coast Film Festival.
For 11 days, experience free filmmaking workshops, free outdoor screening program geared towards kids and families as well as a slew of interactive events.
Watch comedies, dramas, Japanese anime, indie gems and all-time favourite family features. The festival also promotes the Gold Coast, considered as one of the pre-eminent filmmakng locations in Australia.
The objectives of the festival are to bring a wide range of films to the Gold Coast, promote the Gold Coast’s profile as Australia’s filmmaking hub, highlight the filmmaking talent of Queensland, entertain audiences with innovative cinema.
The Gold Coast Film Festival is solidly supported by the Queensland State Government via Screen QLD and Tourism and Events QLD.
Tickets for adults costs $15.00 each. Students also pay $15.00 each.
The festival will take place on April 3 to 13, 2014 at Hooker Boulevard
